This is the CD version of German grandmaster Karsten Mueller’s very popular ChessCafe Puzzle Book. Mueller combines clear discussions of tactical themes with well-chosen positions to test, challenge and teach. Although the classic combinations are not ignored, the great emphasis is on positions from modern tournament practice of the last decade.

It is in ChessBase format and is also offered in PGN. There are four ways to open and run this program: (1) With ChessBase Light (free download); (2) With ChessBase 9.0 (or lower); (3) With a ChessBase engine such as Fritz, Junior, Shredder, etc.; and (4) Using the PGN version.
